Founded in 2008, C by Me targets those imaginative minds or aspiring
designers, who like get creative and design, decorate and personalize their own clothing. C by Me is headquartered in North Miami Beach, Florida, where its flagship and first store is also located. The two creative minds behind this new and innovative concept and business are Brittany Socol and Erika Koopman.
Erika Koopman
From the green room to the boardroom to the playroom, Erika Koopman brings a diversified business and creative background to the first flagship store of C by ME. As a former NBC TV producer, Erika was responsible for creating and producing award-winning segments for the
networks leading news programs. this dynamic job enabled her to create influential contacts with regional and national medial, pointing her as the ideal candidate to land the prestigious role of founding the Miami office of Harrison & Shriftman, an elite industry leader in public
relations, marketing and special events. As the director and founder of the Miami office, Erika established and built the agency's reputable office, building a client base that consisted of some of the most prestigious luxury fashion, lifestyle brands. Known as one of the best,
most accomplished and respected publicists in the southeast, the Miami office was one of three key offices as part of Harrison & Shriftman's sale to mega media house, Omnicom. Her newest endeavor as co founder of C By Me, LLC combines her passions of creativity, clothing and kids.
Brittany Socol
Born into a family boasting three generations of clothing design, manufacturing and sales, Brittany learned early the ins and the outs of the garment business and independently developed a love for the industry. Playing at her parents clothing store as a child, it was then
she knew retail would be in her future. Her well-rounded knowledge of the clothing industry landed her a dream job to spearhead the design team for Sweet Innocence, a private company selling to major department stores throughout the country with manufacturing resources all over the world. Brittany frequently traveled internationally to attend the major fashion shows and scope out designs from the world's trendsetters. Her fashion forward ideas single-- handedly turned sweet innocence into one of the select few privileged enough to Create private label collections for some of the largest department stores. With success under her belt, Brittany took a hiatus from designing to raise her daughter and develop the concept of c by me. Raised in the area she calls home to her first standalone store, Brittany comes with immense experience and stellar contacts to bring c by me the very best of the best the fashion industry
has to offer.
